To mark the 100th anniversary of the historic East Aurora-West Aurora high school basketball rivalry, Old Second Bank is inviting people to vote for their favorite team.
The first East-West game was played in 1913 — and the rivalry will be renewed Saturday night at East High.
To support the historic game, Old Second Bank is conducting a poll on its Facebook page. Fans are encouraged to vote for the team they’ll be cheering in the game.
The school with the most votes in the poll will receive a $500 Sports Boosters donation from Old Second. The runner-up will receive a $250 donation.
Fans with a Facebook account can vote at facebook.com/OldSecondBank. More information is available at oldsecond.com.
Tipoff for Saturday’s East-West game will be at 7:30 p.m. Old Second’s poll will be open until five minutes prior to tipoff.
