Boys basketball

Somonauk 55, Westminster Christian 54 — Marcus Alstadt hit five threes in the first half and finished with 17 points to lead the Bobcats (6-11). John Wathen added 13 points and six assists.

Sandwich 56, Yorkville 44Rockford Christian 59, Indian Creek 39

Girls basketball

Ottawa 50, Kaneland 30 — Ashley Prost led the Knights (11-7, 3-3) with 10 points.

Plano 44, Herscher 25 — Zhate Jackson led the Reapers (16-4) with 12 points. Tachae Miles added 11 points.

Neuqua Valley 54, Waubonsie Valley 18 — Morgan Grastorf’s six points led the Warriors.

Aurora Christian 50, Chicago Christian 39 — Alyssa Andersen scored 20 points to power the Eagles (14-6, 4-2). Alex Hultine added nine points.

West Aurora 45, Glenbard East 35

Girls bowling

Fenton Invitational — Oswego placed third among 23 teams with a pinfall of 5,430. Rachael Tackitt’s 196 average was good enough for ninth place individually. Teammate Jessica Mendez was 11th with a 194 average.

Wrestling

Lockport Mega Duals — Oswego dropped matches against Bolingbrook (45-25), Lockport (50-17) and Neuqua Valley (40-31). Nick Aguirre (138 pounds) and Max Larsen (160) each went 3-0 for the Panthers.

Hinsdale South Quad — Oswego East fell to Wheeling (61-13), St. Patrick (64-17) and Hinsdale South (66-9). Zach Prinz went 2-0 at 170 pounds for the Wolves.
