Aurora Central 76, Walther Lutheran 68 — Anthony Andujar led the Chargers (4-1, 1-0) with 23 points. Shawn Soris scored 19 points and Phil Schuetz 17 points for the winners, who overcame an early 29-9 deficit.
Aurora Christian 61, Montini 38 — Cory Windle scored 19 points and Ryan McQuade added 17 as the Eagles (3-1) captured the championship of the Burney Wilkie Classic.
Geneva 58, South Elgin 51 — Nate Navigato scored 19 points to lead the Vikings.
Yorkville 58, Plano 49 — Taylor Carter tallied 17 points for the Foxes (4-2) and Dakota Gette chipped in 15 points.

Metea Valley 65, East Aurora 47 — Nia Flowers scored 12 points to lead the Mustangs (5-3, 1-1) to the UEC Valley win. For the Tomcats, Tyshee Towner totaled 32 points, nine rebounds and five steals.
Marian 58, Aurora Christian 55 — Alyssa Anderson had a game-high 22 points for the Eagles. Natasha Brown added 10 points and 20 rebounds. Gabi Galbato scored 11 points.
Yorkville 46, Plano 40 — Mackenzie Bollinger led the Foxes (3-2) with 16 points. Lindsey Schlichting added 13 points.
Batavia 73, Elgin 36 — Erin Bayram scored 16 points to lead the Bulldogs (5-3, 2-1). Hannah Frazier and Liza Fruendt contributed 13 points each.

Wrestling
Kaneland triangular — Plano collected two wins, downing Lemont 46-27 and the host Knights on a tiebreaker after the two schools tied at 35. Kaneland also defeated Lemont 54-21. Stephen Gust, David Barnhart, Esai Ponce, Dan Goress and Zack Theis were two-time winners for the Knights.
at Dixon — Sandwich defeated Sterling (54-23) and Rockford Boylan (60-19), but lost to Rock Island 35-25. Rigo Fraire, Erik Schwartz and Jason Howell all went 3-0 for the Indians.
Girls bowling
Fremd Invitational — Oswego placed third among 20 teams with a pinfall of 4,387. Cheyanne Valdez finished in seventh place individually for the Panthers with a 197 average. Teammate Rachael Tackitt was 10th with a 186 average.
Men’s basketball
Aurora 87, Edgewood 73 — Jordan Hester tallied 21 points to lead the Spartans (3-3, 2-0) to a road victory. Marious Lobdell added 15 points.
Women’s basketball
Edgewood 88, Aurora 80 — Shay Jenkins scored 22 points for the Spartans (2-4, 1-2). Ciara Marlow chipped in 16 points.
