ACS parade Saturday

Aurora Christian will be holding a welcome home celebration for the football team at 5 p.m. Saturday in the school gymnasium. Everyone is welcome.
A parade will start at approximately 3:30 at the Orchard Church on Galena and Barnes Road.
IHSA title games televised
For the second straight year, Comcast SportsNet will be airing live coverage of the 2012 Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Football Championships on Friday and Saturday from Memorial Stadium in Champaign.
Illinois prep football fans can look forward to seeing every action-packed championship battle starting with the Class 1A contest on Friday morning at 10 a.m., through the Class 8A contest on Saturday at 7 p.m. Plus — for the first time in IHSA history — every championship game will be telecast in high definition.
The schedule is as follows:
Class 1A, 10 a.m. Friday — Stockton vs. Maroa-Forsyth; Class 2A, 2 p.m. Friday — Mercer County vs. Belleville Althoff; Class 3A, 4 p.m. Friday — Aurora Christian vs. Tolono Unity; Class 4A, 7 p.m. Friday — Rock Island Alleman vs. Rochester; Class 5A, 10 a.m. Saturday — Montini vs. Morris; Class 6A, 1 p.m. Saturday — Cary-Grove vs. Crete-Monee; Class 7A, 4 p.m. Saturday — Glenbard West vs. Lincoln-Way East; Class 8A, 7 p.m. Saturday — Glenbard North vs. Mount Carmel.
