Waubonsie Valley 65, Deerfield 44 — The Warriors improved to 2-0 at the Palatine Tournament.

Indian Creek 61, Alden-Hebron 30 — The Timberwolves collected their second straight win at the Westminster Christian tourney.

Yorkville 38, Streator 32 — The Foxes improved to 1-1 at the Ottawa Tournament. Taylor Carter scored 10 points in the win.

Somonauk 58, Hall 50 — John Wathan led the Bobcats (1-1) with 16 points. Jacob Alstadt added 15 points and six rebounds.

Addison Trail 69, Marmion 54 — The Cadets lost at the West Chicago Tournament.

Girls basketball

Geneva 60, Downers Grove North 29 — Morgan Seberger had 11 points for the Vikings.

Plano 42, Indian Creek 24 — Temira Ellis led the Reapers (3-2) with 15 points.

Somonauk 45, Morris 34 — Allison Humes had 11 points and 13 rebounds for the Bobcats (3-3).

DeKalb 40, West Aurora 30 — Erin Jacobsen had 12 points and three steals for the Blackhawks.

Serena 44, Aurora Christian 33 — Alyssa Andersen totaled 16 points for the Eagles (2-2).

Plainfield East 51, East Aurora 44 — Tyshee Towner had 26 points and 10 rebounds for the Tomcats (1-3).
