Kaneland hosting spaghetti dinner
The Kaneland boys basketball program will be hosting its fourth annual spaghetti dinner on Nov. 15.
The dinner will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. The price is $5 per person.
The Kaneland community is invited to come meet the players and the coaching staff. Food will be served by the boys in the basketball program.

AU women’s soccer
Aurora University’s Jenee Lange was named Northern Athletics Conference Defensive Player of the Year. The junior, who was also named first team All-Conference, started 17 games and helped the Spartans collect eight shutouts — including six in conference play. AU has allowed just 0.66 goals per game this season.
Spartans coach Troy Edwards was named the conference’s Coach of the Year. Edwards has guided AU to a 17-1-1 record this season, including a perfect 12-0 in the NAC.
Joining Lange as first team All-Conference picks are sophomore midfielder Nicole Wolfe (14 goals), freshman forward Nicci Bermudes (14 goals), sophomore midfielder Lisa Bajkowski and senior defender Britney Schenck.
Senior forward Raquel Rodriguez (4 goals, 10 assists) was a second-team choice. Bermudes and defender Alisha Oseguera were named to the NAC All-Freshman team.
