Newark 2, Hinckley-Big Rock 0 — Kristina Nichols amassed 11 kills and six digs to lead Newark to a 25-11, 25-15 victory at the Earlville Regional. Lauren Tollefson added 22 assists for Newark (28-4-1). Melissa Schmidt added 11 points including three aces.
Seneca 2, Somonauk 0 — Somonauk lost at the Amboy Regional 25-18, 25-21. Jordan Buell had 13 digs and Payton Orzech added 10 assists and three kills.
