Boys basketball

Somonauk 47, Amboy 43 — The Bobcats advanced to the semifinals in their own Class 2A regional. They will face Mendota Wednesday at 8:10. Colin Stahl led Somonauk with 11 points.

Newark 2, Luther East 0 — The Norsemen advanced at the Serena Class 1A Regional after Luther East withdrew from the tournament.

Indian Creek 73, Paw Paw 52 — The Timberwolves advanced into the semifinals of the Sterling Newman Class 1A Regional. They will face the host school at 7:30 Thursday.

Mooseheart 54, Islamic Faith Foundation 45 — The Red Ramblers advanced into the semifinals of the Hinckley-Big Rock Class 1A Regional. They will face Westminster Christian at 8:10 Wednesday.

Sandwich 62, Ida Crown 13 — The Indians advanced to the state quarterfinals with a win at the Coal City Class 1A Sectional.
