A little girl’s family started the Jeanine Nicarico Literacy Fund in 1996 to help students in the Naperville schools advance their reading skills, just like she did. The Glow Run to support the fund attracted 1,300 participants this year, almost double last year’s numbers. It was a special night Friday, as family and friends had the chance to watch seniors from East Aurora High School get their diplomas during graduation ceremonies at the high school. Galena Boulevard in Aurora is closed just east of Farnsworth Avenue due to a sink hole. The section of Galena will be closed through Thursday morning. Metro Water Reclamation District will be performing an excavation on Galena beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday to repair the sink hole that is immediately adjacent to a Fox Metro sewer.
