A 4-year-old St. Charles boy drowned in the pool at Royal Fox Country Club in St. Charles over the weekend. Paulino F. Delle Grazie was pronounced dead in the emergency room of Cadence Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva at 4:11 p.m. Saturday. The child had been transported to the hospital by paramedics after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool at the country club, according to the Kane County Coroner’s Office. Police were called to May Street Park, 600 block of North May Street, around 8:30 p.m. where a dark-colored minivan was seen fleeing the area of a possible shooting. A Waterman man escaped injury Saturday morning when the trailer he was pulling overturned on an Interstate 55 ramp to Route 83. The trailer had an attached concrete beam, according to Illinois State Police, and the ramp remained closed almost all of Saturday. The man, age 38, was not identified. Vandals have targeted an Oswego elementary school four times this month, most recently setting a garbage bin on fire. Police were called around 12:20 a.m. Thursday to Fox Chase Elementary School where a garbage bin had reportedly been set on fire. No one was injured, but police said the bin was damaged. Prior to Thursday’s incident, two garbage cans and a portable toilet near the school were targets of arson. Kendall County deputies are investigating a Taser fight that injured two women at a Montgomery home Tuesday night.
