Grateful for help: Thank you to everyone who stopped to help me when I lost control of my bicycle and injured myself at the entrance of Jewel and Eola Road Saturday morning, contacting 911, hydrating me, assuring someone stayed until the EMTs arrived, and then transporting me home is greatly appreciated. Your concern, kindness and thoughtfulness cannot be repaid. Thank you all for helping an Auroran in need.
It’s a miracle: Miracle of miracles has happened, I agree with Jeff Ward. I can hardly believe it. His article about Rick Lawrence. Rick is our alderman in the 4th Ward, and I sincerely hope he does choose to run for another term. He has been a great asset to us and always willing to listen to our problems. Again, a miracle has happened in Aurora. I can hardly believe it.
Editor’s note: Ward writes about the 4th Ward alderman once again in today’s column on this page. Do you have a Speak Out comment? Call, in anonymity, though we would like your city of residence, to 630-978-8683.
