Aurora man crashes motorcycle, gets DUI

An Aurora man was charged with drunken driving after he was involved in a serious motorcycle crash Saturday evening in Aurora.

Timothy Warning, 1000 block of Adobe Drive, allegedly lost control of his motorcycle while navigating a turn near Bilter Road and North Farnsworth Avenue at 6:55 p.m., police said.

Warning crashed his bike into a tree, and was seriously injured. Warning was treated at the scene, and transported with injuries to an area hospital.

He was subsequently charged with drunken driving.

Aurora

Amber Henley, 24, 1800 block of Foxfield Drive, Aurora, was charged with felony misuse of a credit card at 8:03 p.m. Friday in the 4300 block of Fox Valley Center Drive, police said.

Joseph Hicks Jr., 29, and Jovan Sievers, 35, both of the 600 block of South River Street, Aurora, were charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and improper walking on a roadway at 7:40 p.m. Friday near Sard Avenue and South River Street, police said.

Demetrius Rogers, 21, 1800 block of Felten Road, Aurora, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance at 3:35 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of South Broadway, police said.

Abel Chaves, 53, 400 block of Fifth Street, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance, and expired registration at 3:59 p.m. Sunday near Fifth Street and Simms Street, police said.

Carl Wunschel, 53, 2800 block of Costal Drive, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, following too closely and no insurance at 8:30 p.m. Saturday near South Eola Road and Dorothy Drive, police said.

Iovana Ortiz, 20, 400 block of West Park Avenue, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 10:48 p.m. Sunday near Evan Avenue and Sexton Street, police said.

Ernesto Campos, 19, 700 block of Sherwood Avenue, Aurora, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 1:40 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of Simms Street, police said.

Kane County

Jeremiah Butler, 24, 500 block of McKee Street, Batavia, was charged with felony drunken driving, felony driving on a suspended/revoked license, and possession of marijuana following an incident that occurred on Thursday in Batavia, court records show.

Nicholas Hopp, 19, 3100 block of Longwood Lane, Aurora, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, following an incident that occurred on Thursday in Batavia, court records show.
