Kendall home’s Christmas lights cut for the third time

A 68-year-old man who lives near Yorkville told police that his exterior Christmas lights were cut between 9 p.m. Thursday and 12:05 a.m. Friday, the Kendall County sheriff’s office said. The victim said it is the third time in a week the lights have been cut at his home in the 0-99 block of Timberview Lane, police said. Police had no suspects.
Lawrence Johnson, 42, 1300 block of Fourth Street, Aurora, was charged with felony aggravated domestic battery as well as misdemeanors domestic battery and knowingly damaging property at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of South Fourth Street, police said.
Victor Gonzalez, 23, 1600 block of Blackwell Lane, Aurora, was charged with felony theft at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday at the Chicago Premium Outlets mall on Farnsworth Avenue, police said.
Roberto Ochoa, 53, 400 block of South Union Street, Aurora, was charged with felony driving on a suspended license as well as misdemeanors failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, improper lane use and no insurance at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday near Douglas Avenue and Simms Street, police said.
Nicholas Girup, 28, 1300 block of Light Road, Oswego, was charged with drunken driving, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and having no insurance at 5:39 a.m. Friday near Dolores Road and Laurie Lane, deputies said.
Kevon Burt-Craig, 21, of Joliet, was charged with aggravated assault and battery at 12:48 a.m. Saturday in the 0-99 block of Wyndham Road, Oswego Township, deputies said.
One person was hospitalized after five-car, chain-reaction crash at 4:47 p.m. Thursday near Route 30 and Fifth Street, police said. Jeffrey Highland, 30, 0-99 block of Old Post Road, Montgomery, was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center, but a condition report was not available, police said. Another driver, Laquisha Brooks, 41, 900 block of Shiloh Court, Joliet, was charged with failure to reduce speed, police said.
Three people were charged with felony retail theft at 8:10 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of Route 34, police said.
Police said the suspects, Kenneth Bunes, 49, of Maywood, Bonita Washington, 48, of Chicago, and Jennifer Washington, 43, of Chicago, stole more than $2,000 worth of merchandise.
Jennifer Washington was also charged with obstructing identification, police said.
Ryan Stratton, 30, of Mount Vernon, was charged with two counts of assault, and one count of disorderly conduct at 9:34 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Route 71, police said.
