AURORA — The Aurora Police Department will be collecting expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs for destruction next week.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 30, the prescription drugs can be dropped off at the front desk of the Police Department, 1200 E. Indian Trail. The service is free and anonymous, and no questions will be asked, police said.
The effort is part of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s prescription drug “Take-Back” campaign aimed at preventing increased pill abuse and theft.
