Aurora immigration, labor law program set

Legal Update for Illinois Employers, a free presentation on immigration, labor and employment laws, will be hosted by Aurora University at 8 a.m. Sept. 25.

Penelope Lechtenberg, a Rockford labor attorney, will speak in the university banquet hall at Alumni Hall, 1410 Marseillaise Place in Aurora.

The free, public program is co-sponsored by AU’s Dunham School of Business and Gallagher Benefit Services of Naperville.

Registration, networking and refreshments are from 7:30 to 8 a.m.

Lechtenberg, a partner with Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, Rockford, will discuss current legal trends, recent federal and state legislation, and upcoming legal requirements of Illinois employers.
