Six cited for public intoxication outside Geneva tavern

Six people were issued local ordinance tickets for public intoxication at 5:45 a.m. Aug. 25 outside of EvenFlow Music and Spirits in the 300 block of W. State St., Geneva police said.
Geneva police Comdr. Julie Nash said the incident outside of the tavern after closing is under investigation.
The individuals cited were Kelly M. Monaco, 37, of Pocono Pines, Pa.; Sergey A. Onik, 25, of West Hollywood, Calif.; Joanne C. McCarthy, 38, of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; Heath J. Freeman, 36, of Los Angeles, Calif.; Alexis A. Gault, 32, of Geneva and Michael L. Isaacson, 25, of Geneva.
Jose A. Cabrera, 31, of the 1200 block of Gates Street, Aurora, was charged with driving on a revoked license after a traffic stop at 11:07 a.m. Aug. 28 in the 300 block of North Washington Street, Batavia police said.
Robert D. Johnson, 27, of the 1000 block of Lorlyn Circle, Batavia, was charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license after a traffic stop at 7:32 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 1200 block of East Wilson Street, Batavia police said.
Christopher W. Bice, 19, of the 600 block of First Street, Batavia, was charged with felony possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol by a minor at 11:57 p.m. Aug. 25 after a traffic stop in the 0-99 block of South Water Street, Batavia police said. Bice also was charged with failure to signal and having no auto insurance.
William C. Johnson, 21, of the 100 block of South Washington Street, Batavia, was charged with drunken driving, possession of marijuana, illegal transportation of alcohol and having no auto insurance or a rear registration light after a traffic stop at midnight Aug. 24 in the 400 block of North Washington Street, Batavia police said. Passenger John F. Peterson, 22, of the 300 block of Woodward Avenue, Geneva, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
Roman J. Garza, 35, of the 200 block of North First Street, Geneva, was charged with drunken driving and driving on a suspended driver’s license after a traffic stop at 1:59 a.m. Aug. 24 in the 200 block of West State Street, Geneva police said.
Barbara A. Parkin, 35, of the 1400 block of South Seventh Street, St. Charles, was charged with drunken driving, DUI over the 0.08 legal limit, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and leaving the scene of an accident at 2:03 a.m. Aug. 24 in the 1100 block of East State Street, Geneva police said.
Thirty-two sterling silver rings were stolen Aug. 22 from Pax Vobiscum religious store in the 200 block of South Third Street, Geneva police said. Total loss was set at $659.00.
A woman’s Ridley Boreas bicycle was stolen sometime before Aug. 25 from an unattached residential garage in the 100 block of Richards Street, Geneva police said. Total loss was set at $1,587.00.
The sheriff’s office is looking for information after a hit-and-run crash Tuesday near Townhouse Road and Hill Road in Newark. The vehicle involved may be a 2002-2004 Toyota Camry. Anyone with information leading to an arrest may receive a reward up to $1,000, and should call 630-553-5999.
