2 charged with growing marijuana at Aurora site

Matthew J. Fenton, 02/17/83, 434 Plaza Place, Aurora, was charged with Unlawful Production of Cannabis Sativa Plants and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with the Intent to Deliver. Both charges are Class 1 Felonies.

Two men have been arrested on charges of growing marijuana at a house at 434 Plaza Place in Aurora.
Detectives from the Aurora and Naperville police departments have been investigating reports of a marijuana growing operation in the area. At 5:59 p.m. Thursday, officers went to the Aurora home and discovered 230 marijuana plants and five pounds of cultivated marijuana.
Arrested was Gregory F. Accardi, 60, and Matthew J. Fenton, 30, both of 434 Plaza Place. They are charged with unlawful production of cannabis sativa plants and unlawful possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver. Both charges are Class 1 felonies. Accardi was additionally charged with resisting arrest, which is a Class A misdemeanor.
