Masterpiece in snow

Scott Frantz and his 4-year-old son Ethan showed their sculpting skills and love of the Blackhawks with a snow castle built from the flakes of this week's storm. After the flakes stopped falling this week, area residents dusted off their corncob pipes and silk hats as they took to sculpting masterpieces made of snow.
With their grins of coal, snowmen and women are bringing some post-holiday cheer to front lawns all over the Fox Valley.
It’s not too late to get in on the winter fun. Below-freezing temperatures are expected to continue into next week, so your Frosty will be sticking around at least a few days before he has to thumpety thump thump away.
