Area Dems, GOP slate annual dinners

Area Republicans and Democrats both will be hosting their annual dinners in Aurora in the next two weeks.
Gov. Pat Quinn will be the keynote speaker at the Kane County Democrats’ annual Harry S. Truman Dinner fundraiser on March 3.
The dinner will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at Pipers Banquets, 1295 Butterfield Road.

GOP’s Lincoln Day
The annual Aurora Township Republican Lincoln Day Dinner will be Thursday at Gaslite Manor, 2485 Church Road.
The 56th annual dinner will begin with cocktails at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.
Charlie Kirk, executive director of the national youth organization Turning Point USA, will be the keynote speaker.
