Batavia man faces DUI charge after crash

Sam L. Erwin, 53, of the 1200 block of Fagan Road, Batavia, was charged at 6:17 p.m. Feb 13 with drunken driving, leaving the scene of a property damage vehicle crash and making an improper right turn in the 1200 block of Halladay Drive, Batavia police said.
Kendall County
Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the theft of a vehicle Friday in the 1300 block of Route 30 in Oswego Township. The owner of the vehicle reported that two men attempted to help him after he locked the keys in his car and when he returned with a spare set, the vehicle was gone. Sheriff’s deputies said two suspects were identified and an investigation continues.
