Two forums scheduled for 4th Ward

Two forums have been planned for voters in Aurora’s Fourth Ward.
On Feb. 18, Wesley United Methodist Church will host its Faith and Politics Forum. The event, which is open to all, will give residents of the Fourth Ward the opportunity to hear from the seven candidates for the Fourth Ward alderman seat, as well as the two candidates for the at-large seat on the Aurora City Council.
The Faith and Politics Forum will begin at 7 p.m. at the Gathering Place, the social hall adjacent to Wesley United, 14 N. May St. For more information, contact the church at 630-896-1033.
On Feb. 21, the Boulevard, West Park and Blackhawk neighborhood groups will host a Fourth Ward Aldermanic Forum at 7 p.m. in the gymnasium of Freeman Elementary, 153 S. Randall Road.

Mavis Bates, Bill Donnell, Duane Kleckner, Jay Leonardi, Mike Leonardi, Kevin Matthews, Chuck Norris are running for the Fourth Ward aldermanic seat.
Rick Lawrence and Bob O’Connor are candidates for the city’s at-large seat.
