Theft reported from checking account

On Tuesday, an Aurora woman reported that between April 13 and May 5 of last year, someone had made unauthorized withdrawals from her checking account, totalling $1,411 dollars, Aurora police said.

Grisel A. Lopez, 21, of the 2200 block of Larkspur Court, Aurora, was charged with felony property damage at 4:25 p.m. Monday at her home, police said.
Jorge A. Acosta, 33, of the 0-99 block of North Anderson Street, was charged with felony aggravated battery by strangling at 8:30 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Bonner Avenue, police said.
Randall W. Lenert, 23, no address provided, was charged with felony failure to register as a sex offender on Friday at the Aurora Police Department.
