Aurora University launches online degree programs

AURORA — Aurora University will be offering top degree programs in an online format, officials announced Wednesday.

Called Aurora University Online, the school is now enrolling for five- to eight-week classes online at online.aurora.edu. Spring term classes begin March 11.

The online programs are designed for working professionals who want to advance their career with a college degree.

“With our online degree programs, we’re able to fulfill the needs of students needing flexibility by providing them with access to a quality education along with our personalized touch,” said Professor Carmella Moran, dean of Aurora University Online.

Online degree and endorsement programs include:

Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, Communications, Criminal Justice and Nursing.

Master’s degrees in Mathematics Education, Mathematics and Science Education for Elementary Teachers, Science Education, Business Administration with optional Leadership Concentration, Criminal Justice, Communication Management and Nursing Administration and Education Specialization.

Post graduate certificate in Nursing Administration and Nursing Education.

Bilingual/English as a Second Language Endorsement.

Special Education Endorsement.

Upon enrolling, AU online students will be partnered with an online academic advisor who maintains a relationship with them throughout their studies, according to a press release.
