SUGAR GROVE — The new Rush-Copley Convenient Care center will open in Sugar Grove on Feb. 1.
Physicians at the new health center will treat a variety of health conditions from sniffles and sore throats to minor burns and broken bones. The center will feature diagnostic services including X-ray and laboratory services. School and sports physicals also will be available.
The Convenient Care center, at 472 N. Route 47 in Sugar Grove, will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
“Medical care, where and when it is needed most, will now be closer to home for many area residents,” said Barry C. Finn, president and CEO.
An open house for the new center is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Free health screenings will be offered, and people will have an opportunity to meet doctors and staff. There also will be activities for children.
