Sugar Grove Assistant Fire Chief Wayne Parson had a big surprise Wednesday evening, but it wasn’t an out-of-control blaze. Firefighters had a surprise party for Parson at the fire station on Municipal Drive to mark his 40th year with the department. Parson was lured to the celebration by being told he needed to be at the station for a training session.
