East Aurora hosting Deferred Action workshop

AURORA — Family Focus and the East Aurora School District will have a Deferred Action workshop Friday at East Aurora High School.
The program will begin at 6 p.m. Friday in the auditorium of East High, on Fifth Avenue at Smith Boulevard.
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals is a federal policy that allows certain young immigrants who came to the U.S. illegally to stay for two years and to get documents for legal employment.
Friday’s workshop will include information on eligibility and application requirements and procedures for seeking the Deferred Action status.
