Women face theft charges in Batavia

Two women were charged last month with theft of company funds in connection with an incident at a Batavia firm, Batavia police said. Eileen Lally, 50, of the 500 block of Union Street, St. Charles, was charged with Class 2 felony theft of over $10,000 and a felony count of theft of $500 to $10,000 from a company in the 1000 block of Paramount Drive, Batavia police said. Patricia Budzinski, 48, of the 1600 block of Valley Forge Ct., Wheaton, was charged with Class 2 felony theft of $500 to $10,000 and a felony count of theft from the same industrial company, police said. The women were charged Nov. 29, police said.
Three women were charged Nov. 27 with felony money laundering after attempting to return stolen merchandise at a retail store in the 800 block of N. Randall Road, Batavia police said. Caroline L. Reeder, 39, of the 600 block of Graham Road, North Aurora; Raquel Garcia, 33, of the 600 block of Woodland Avenue and Andrea M. Fish, 25, of the 500 block of W. Galena Boulevard, Aurora, were charged with 2 counts of felony (Class 3) money laundering in a stolen merchandise/return scheme at the store, police said.
Leonel Diaz, 41, of the 400 block of Hastings St., Elgin, was charged Nov. 12 with two counts of Class 2 felony burglary and a count of Class 3 felony theft in the 1300 block of Paramount Parkway, Batavia police said.
Teejana Perry, 19, of 29W000 Hawthorne Lane, Warrenville, was charged Nov. 30 in the 1000 block of E. Wilson Street with felony (Class 3) financial exploitation of an elderly person and 2 counts of felony (Class 3) forgery and a count of theft over $500, Batavia police said.
