The Fox Valley Philharmonic Orchestra, Academy Orchestra, directors, guest soloists, the Philharmonic Choir — and the audience — joined forces for a “Do-It-Yourself” Messiah and other holiday music last weekend at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Aurora.
Although the concert was free, donations went to benefit Lifespring Ministries, a Wayside Cross Ministries program which provides transitional housing for homeless women and their children.
