Families turned out in force over the weekend for the Las Posadas celebration at East Aurora High School.
An important part of Mexican tradition, Las Posadas commemorates the story of the cold and difficult journey of Mary and Joseph from Nazareth to Bethlehem and their search for shelter at an inn.
The East High event featured music, food, Mexican Folkloric Dancers and presentations by students of East Aurora schools.
And Santa Claus also made a special appearance.
