Big Rock man charged with pulling gun after traffic argument

A 22-year-old Big Rock man is facing multiple charges after pulling a gun in a traffic dispute in Yorkville in late November, police said Tuesday.
Price Davis, of the 47W500 block of Scott Road, Big Rock, was charged with misdemeanors aggravated assault and unlawful use of a weapon for pointing a gun at a person who approached his pickup truck along Route 47 at 6:45 p.m. Nov. 24, Yorkville police said.
Davis and the other person had an argument shortly before Davis pulled out his gun, but no one was injured and no shots were fired, police said.
Richard Hayden, 18, 500 block of North Edgelawn Drive, Aurora, was charged with felony aggravated battery to a pregnant person as well as misdemeanor domestic battery at 10:42 p.m. Sunday near Greenwood Drive and Lilac Lane, police said.
Anibal Rivas, 32, 800 block of North Randall Road, Aurora, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance at 12:25 a.m. Monday in the 1300 block of Monomoy Street, police said.
One person was injured in a three car-crash at 5:42 p.m. Monday near Liberty Street and Eola Road, police said. Tateka Love, 100 block of North Lincolnway, North Aurora, was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center, but no condition report was available. Gabriela Lechuga was charged with failure to reduce speed, police said. The other driver was not ticketed or hospitalized.
One person was injured in a two-car crash at 7:33 a.m. Tuesday near Route 23 and Chicago Road, the sheriff’s office said. Stacy Ryan, 19, of Leland, was taken to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Rockford, but a condition report was not available. The other driver, Elliott Lorentsent, 20 of Sandwich, was charged with failure to yield, police said.
Anthony Hilsop, 18, 0-99 block of Winter Hill Circle, Montgomery, was charged with driving under the influence, no insurance, possession of alcohol by a minor and marijuana possession at 5 a.m. Saturday near Ashland Avenue and River Street, police said.
Four wheels from a Cadillac Escalade, a laptop and a radar detector, worth a total of $3,500, were stolen from a car in the 100 block of Keck Avenue sometime before 1:30 a.m. Friday, police said.
John Schein, 27, 100 block of Revere Court, Montgomery, was charged with driving under the influence after a crash at 6 a.m. Saturday near Douglas Road and Seasons Ridge Boulevard, police said. Schein ran from the scene and was caught not far away, police said.
A 2001 Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle was stolen from a parking lot in the 1700 block of Douglas Road sometime before 6:05 p.m. Sunday, police said.
