Sandwich holiday concert Nov. 25 to benefit needy

SANDWICH — A holiday concert by the Indian Valley Community Band will serve as a fundraiser to feed needy families during the Christmas season.

The Nov. 25 concert at the Sandwich Opera House will include classics and popular holiday tunes of the 1950s. The concert will begin at 2 p.m. at the Opera House, 140 E. Railroad St.

The concert is free and open to the public, but the band asks those attending to bring non-perishable food, cash or checks for the Sandwich Lions Club’s Franklin Mall Christmas Project, which collects and then delivers the food.
