AURORA — The body of a 39-year-old Aurora woman was found in a vacant home on the city’s East Side Thursday afternoon. Police said no foul play is suspected in her death.
A relative was searching for the woman, who had been missing since Tuesday, and found her body at the home in the 2600 block of Moss Lane around 4:35 p.m., police said.
The woman, who lives in the same block, had been known to frequent the vacant home in the past. She was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
Police said there was no sign of forced entry to the home, and that the vacant home has been used as a shelter by squatters. It was unclear whether the property was under foreclosure.
