Teen charged in stabbing in Plano

A 17-year-old boy was charged with aggravated battery for his role in a stabbing that took place at 12:15 a.m. Sunday near Abe and Cook streets, police said Tuesday. According to police, a man reported that he had been in a fight with another man, and during the fight he had been stabbed twice. The victim was treated at Valley West Hospital in Sandwich for non-life threatening wounds and released, police said.

Aurora

Serafin Chacon-Ochoa was charged with drunken driving, no insurance, failure to reduce speed, illegal transportation of alcohol and leaving the scene of a crash at 2:43 a.m. Monday near Randall Road and Indian Trail, police said. Aurora police refused to provide Chacon-Ochoa’s age or address.

Mario Sanchez, 32, 0-99 block of North Root Street, Aurora, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance at 9 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of East Galena Boulevard, police said.

About $3,020 damage was done when someone stole parts of four air conditioners at a building in the 700 block of Hardin Avenue between noon Oct. 8 and 8 a.m. Monday, police said.

Kendall County

The Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on vandalism to golf carts and a soda machine at Cedardell Golf Course, in Plano, between 2 and 3 a.m. Oct. 14. Anyone with information is asked to call Kendall County Crime Stoppers at 630-553-5999. Callers can remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
