A 51-year-old St. Charles man is facing multiple felony charges after police said they found child pornography and drugs during a search of his home.
About four months ago, Naperville and Downers Grove police began investigating child pornography that was being sent through a file sharing network. Investigators determined that Gary Harris, 1800 block of Howard Street, had been sharing files, St. Charles police said Wednesday. The child porn investigators provided an IP address and a DVD to St. Charles police.
On Sept. 25, police searched Harris’ home and confiscated computers and DVDs. Officers also found cocaine and marijuana during the search, police said.
Harris turned himself in on Monday. He was charged with felonies aggravated child pornography, delivery of a controlled substance and delivery of between 30 and 500 grams of marijuana, police said. He is scheduled to be in court Nov. 14.
