Man charged with sexual abuse of 7-year-old in Montgomery

A Naperville man has been charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual abuse in the assault of a 7-year-old girl in Montgomery, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Department.

Sean Hemphill, 29, 800 block of Corday Drive, was taken into custody on Oct. 9, after a warrant was issued for his arrest last month, deputies said.

Deputies said that on Jan. 4, 2012, the mother of a 7-year-old girl reported that her daughter had been sexually abused at a home in the 0-99 block of Marnel Road in Montgomery.

Kendall County detectives began an investigation into the allegations, and eventually charged Hemphill with four counts of felony aggravated criminal sexual abuse.


An Aurora man was charged with multiple counts of felony domestic battery in the beating of a pregnant woman on Saturday, police said. Kenneth Stewart, 27, 1100 block of Kane Street, Aurora, was charged with felony battery of a pregnant person, two counts of felony domestic battery, felony robbery and interfering with the reporting of a domestic violence incident at 2:42 p.m. Saturday at his home, police said.

Felipe Morales, 33, 600 block of Jackson Street, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of liquor at 12:27 a.m. Monday near Jackson Street and Seventh Avenue, police said.

Vicente Delacruz, 25, 600 block of Jungels Avenue, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident, no license and no insurance at 1:30 a.m. Monday near Indian Trail and Mitchell Road, police said.

Carlos Aldana, 39, 1300 block of Monomoy Street, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, failure to signal, traffic control violation and driving on a suspended or revoked license at 11:46 p.m. Sunday near New York Street and Broadway, police said.

Rogelio Zepeda, 33, 1000 block of North Highland Avenue, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident and traffic control violation at 2:25 a.m. Saturday near High Street and Indian Trial, police said.

Martin Tejeda, 46, 700 block of Inland Circle, Naperville, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use at 12:32 a.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Dearborn Avenue, police said.

Socorro Lopez, 40, 100 block of South LaSalle Street, Aurora, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, drunken driving, driving on a suspended or revoked license, improper lane use and failure to signal at 1:51 a.m. Sunday near Benton and LaSalle streets, police said.

Someone used a BB gun to cause $1,000 in damage to a home in the 500 block of South LaSalle Street last week, police said. The homeowner reported several dents to the siding of the house.

Someone stole a laptop computer, a personal computer, an iPod dock, a flat screen television and an XBox, worth $4,370, between midnight and noon Saturday from a home in the 200 block of South Commonwealth Avenue, police said.

Uzma Aleemuchaque, 1000 block of Howell Place, Aurora, and Remedios Xochitectal, 1100 block of South Spencer Street, Aurora, were taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center with injuries after a traffic accident near Parker Avenue and Howell Place at 3:02 p.m. Saturday, police said. Police charged Aleemuchaque with disobeying a stop sign, and charged Xochitectal with driving on a suspended license. The driver of a third vehicle involved in the accident was not injured, police said.


David Trucano, 47, of Lombard, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use at 12:45 a.m. Saturday near Route 34 and Boulder Hill Pass, police said.

A 25-year-old Aurora woman reported she was the victim of a aggravated assault and battery last week in the 500 block of Bison Court in Oswego, police said. Police are investigating the incident.


A 15-year-old Sandwich boy was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 9 p.m. Friday at the Sandwich High School football game where officers tracked him down for violating his electronic home monitoring, police said. The DeKalb County sheriff’s office requested the help of Sandwich police in locating the juvenile. He was found at the football game, with a small amount of marijuana in his possession, police said. The teen was handed over to the sheriff’s office to face charges on his home monitoring violation, police said.


Someone took four tires and four wheels off a vehicle between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 11:30 a.m. Sunday while it was parked in a garage in the 2700 block of Cranston Circle, police said.

Susan Babic, 27, 300 block of Bertram Drive, Yorkville, was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora after a single-vehicle accident at 7:17 a.m. Saturday near Galena and Kennedy roads, police said. Babic was charged with driving while license suspended and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
