Car, semi collide on Route 59

A crash on Interstate 88 just west of Route 59 backed up tollway traffic during the morning rush hour Thursday.
The crash involving a car and a semi-tractor trailer occurred shortly before 9 a.m. State Police Trooper Michelle Kistulinec said traffic was stopped on the exit ramp leading from the toll road to Route 59 when a car slammed into the rear of a semi waiting in the left lane.
Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene, but Kistulinec could not provide injury information.
Aurora
Saul Blancarte, 22, of the 300 block of Stuart Avenue, Aurora, was charged with felony aggravated stalking and misdemeanor violating an order of protection at 1:20 a.m. Thursday at his home, police said.
Douglas Rayford, 32, 1400 block of Marywood Lane, Aurora, was charged with felony driving with a revoked license at 1:21 p.m. Tuesday near Galena Boulevard and North Farnsworth Avenue, police said.
Jamari Suggs, 22, 900 block of Oliver Avenue, Aurora, was charged with felony unlawful restraint and misdemeanor domestic battery at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday at his home, police said.
Oscar Salgado, 21, 500 block of Oakwood Avenue, Aurora, was charged with felony violation of the Sex Offender Registration Act at 12:35 p.m. Tuesday at his home, police said.
Kendall County
About 45 pallets were taken from a business in the 100 block of Route 71 between Sept. 28 and Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said. The total loss was estimated at $315.
Plano
Nicholas Young, 26, 700 block of North Hale Street, Plano, was charged with drunken driving at 12:42 a.m. Thursday near Main and Ben streets, police said. Young was also wanted on a LaSalle County warrant for failure to appear in court on a DUI case, police said.
