An Aurora woman involved in three crashes Wednesday afternoon now is facing drunken driving charges, according to Aurora police.
Cheryl Fisher, 54, of the 700 block of Four Seasons Boulevard, hit a car parked near Waterford Drive and Hickory Park Lane at 2:48 p.m. Wednesday, but kept driving, police said. A witness saw Fisher hit the car and provided the owner with a description of the vehicle, police said. As officers were responding to that call, they received a report that a similar car had sideswiped a parked car and then hit a bus head-on near Simms Street and Waterford Road. Fisher admitted she hit the first parked car, but said she did not remember hitting the bus, police said.
In addition to drunken driving, she was charged with no insurance, no valid driver’s license, expired registration, failure to reduce speed, improper lane use and leaving the scene of a property damage crash, police said. There were people on the bus at the time of the crash, but police did not say if there were any injuries.
Adrian Szilage was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center after he was involved in a crash with a car while riding his bicycle at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday near Broadway and Ashland Avenue, police said. No condition report was available. Szilage was charged with disobeying a traffic control device, police said. The driver of the car was not injured. Police refused to release Szilage’s age and address.
Subia Lazcano may have been injured when she hit a parked car while driving the wrong way on Downer Place near Jackson Street at 12:50 a.m. Thursday, police said. Lazcano was charged with drunken driving and no valid driver’s license, police said.
