Pizza cooking interrupted by brick attack

A woman was cooking pizza when she heard booming noises in her house at 9:56 p.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of Wildrose Lane, police said. Someone used bricks to break two windows and damage the siding of the house, police said. Total loss was $1,500.
Four tires, four rims and a license plate, worth $2,050, were taken from a home in the 2000 block of Fox Pointe Circle between 9 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
A lawn mower and an air conditioner, worth a total of $1,250, were stolen from a home in the 1800 block of Plum Street between July 20 and Tuesday, police said.
One person was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for a non life threatening injury after a fight in the 100 block of Harbor Drive at 7:10 p.m. Thursday, police said. The victim was not identified, so a condition report was not available. No one was charged in the incident.
An assortment of jewelry, including two pairs of gold earrings with amethyst and sapphire stones and a gold wedding band were stolen in a residential burglary Aug. 10-19 in the 700 block of Maves Drive, Batavia police said.
Two gold rings, a pair of gold earrings and a gold bracelet worth $1,500 were stolen in a residential burglary sometime before Aug. 21 in the 200 block of Trent Drive, Batavia police said.
Ryan H. DesLauriers, 33, of the 1200 block of Andover Circle, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and possession of marijuana (less than 2.5 grams) Aug. 16 in the 1900 block of S. Kirk Road, Geneva police said.
The Burgess Field ticket booth was spray painted with graffiti sometime between Aug. 20-21 in the 1400 block of Gray Street, Geneva police said. The vandals used yellow and red paint to write “Kill People” and an expletive.
Manuel Vasquez, 45, 400 block of Exchange Street, Sycamore, was charged with driving under the influence and speeding at 2:38 a.m. Friday near Route 71 and Plainfield Road, police said.
Sue Matile, 66, 100 block of North Adams Street, Oswego, was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center after a bicycle-vs.-car crash at 3:35 p.m. Thursday near Route 25 and North Street, police said. No tickets were issued. A condition report was not available.
