Two juveniles were taken into custody by Aurora police Friday afternoon on suspicion of burglarizing a home in the White Eagle Subdivision in Naperville.
Naperville police said they were called at about 12:37 p.m. Friday by a homeowner in the 3500 block of Scottsdale Circle about a burglary in progress. The homeowner told police he chased the juveniles and briefly detained them, but the two escaped.
Naperville contacted Aurora police and the DuPage County sheriff’s office for K-9 assistance.
About 30 minutes later, Aurora police officers found one of the suspects on Schoger Road. The second juvenile was detained at 1:50 p.m. in the vicinity of Bar Harbour Road, also by Aurora police. Both sites are not far from where the burglary had been discovered.
No charges had been filed against the juveniles as of late Friday afternoon.
Anyone with information is asked to call Naperville police at 630-420-6147.
