In her role as Mrs. Illinois 2012, Lisa Sonnenberg of Aurora has been making pitches to help women with depression and, at Provena Mercy Center in Aurora two weeks ago, kids suffering with ADHD.
Over the weekend, the 32-year-old Sonnenberg made another pitch — tossing out the first pitch of the White Sox game at U.S. Cellular Field.
Sonnenberg will represent Illinois in the Mrs. America Pageant in Tucson, Ariz., Aug. 23 to 29.
