It was Greek to downtown Aurora Friday evening, for the third in the Aurora Historical Society’s series of programs on Aurora’s ethnic heritage.

The event — titled Flavors of Aurora: Stirred, Not Shaken — offered Greek food and music at the David L. Pierce Art and History Center on Downer Place.

The program offered a mini-exhibit of the contributions of the Greek American community to the development of Aurora — and dancing by the Apollo Dance Troupe outdoors on Downer Place during the evening.
