Unoccupied car rolls into house; no one hurt

No one was injured when an unoccupied car hit a house at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of Lebanon Street, Aurora police said. The car was parked, but began rolling and hit the porch of an occupied home, police said. No tickets were issued, police said.

Kevin Thomas, 51, 1200 block of Liberty Street, Aurora, was charged with felony driving on a suspended license at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday near Loucks and New York streets, police said.
Eugene Smith, 46, 700 block of Limerick Drive, Aurora, was charged with felony unlawful use of a recording device and misdemeanor trespassing at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of East New York Street, police said.
Miguel Nocelotl, 28, 600 block of Flagg Street, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, disregarding a stop sign, failure to signal, no driver’s license, no insurance and improper passing at 12:50 a.m. Monday near Illinois and Oak avenues, police said.
Someone broke a window and stole stereo equipment from a car in the 1100 block of Homer Avenue between 9:30 p.m. Monday and 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said Thursday. Total loss was $1,185, police said.
Kendall County
Jason Litwicki, 23, 1800 block of Westbrook Court, Plainfield, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance, improper lane use and driving on the wrong side of the road at 1:09 a.m. Thursday near Czerkies Boulevard and Burshire Drive, the sheriff’s office said.
A 16-year-old boy was charged with battery after he punched another student in the face during an argument on the ride home from Oswego High School at 11:19 a.m. Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said. The incident took place near Boulder Hill Pass and Circle Drive East Road, near Montgomery, police said.
The sheriff’s office was called to Boulder Hill Elementary School, 163 Boulder Hill Pass, at 4:05 p.m. Monday for a report of boys drinking and yelling outside the school, police said. The sheriff’s office is questioning some boys, but no charges had been filed Thursday afternoon.
