FRIDAY
Dinner Theater: The Fern Dell Historic Association of Newark and the United Methodist Church of Millington will host a dinner theater at the church, 200 Orleans St. in Millington, today through Sunday. The Tri County Players will present an Italian-themed play, “Over the River and Thru the Woods.” Dinner is at 6 p.m. and the show at 7 p.m. Reservations with Van Mathre, 815-695-5656 or mathre@sbcglobal.net.
SATURDAY
Go Dog Go Third Anniversary Block Party: This celebration will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Go Dog Go, at 100 Main St., Oswego, at Main and Washington. Festivities will include demos in flyball, agility, rally and more. Vendor booths from Nurture dog training, Heads or Tails dog grooming, Central Bark Doggy Day Care, A+ Pet Massage and Swimming, Lucky Dog agility, Simply Pets pet sitting, Fly and more. There will be dog contests (with prizes), including longest tail, biggest ears, best trick, shortest dog and tallest dog. Dog adoptions with Cattle Dog Rescue, and cat adoptions with Reach Out Rescue, will be available. There will be raffles for gift certificates from downtown merchants, and a 50/50 raffle. All raffle proceeds will buy pet food for the Kendall County Food Pantry. In-store specials, coupons, and treat bags for dog guests. Call 630-551-3647.
SUNDAY
Bingo: The Elburn and Countryside Community Center will be offering Bingo every fourth Sunday of the month beginning today. Bingo starts at 2 p.m. with regular bingo, followed by games such as Crazy “T”, Big “X”, Roulette and more. All games must be played using daubers and you must be 18 years of age or older to play. At 525 N. Main St. in Elburn, just south of Route 38 on the east side of Route 47.
