Spaghetti Supper: Sugar Grove United Methodist Church hosts a benefit spaghetti supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Sugar Grove Community House, 141 Main St. Proceeds from the Valentine-themed dinner will be used to support the Sugar Grove United Methodist Missions Team on their trip to Haiti this summer. 630-466-4501.
All About Shabbona Park: Gerald Hulslander of Marseilles will talk about the Shabbona Park area near Harding at 2 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Bethany Lutheran church, 235 E. Lundy Lane, Leland. Hulslander is a long time member of the Utica Historical Society. The program is sponsored by the Leland Town and Country Association. The LTCA is asking anyone who has pictures and memories of Shabbona park to come and share those memories with the audience.
Spaghetti dinner: Sheridan United Methodist Church, 219 S. Bushnell St., holds its sixth annual Valentine Spaghetti Dinner, as part of the Second Monday Community Supper, from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Feb. 13. Dessert will be a chocolate fountain. No charge, but donations accepted. Carry-outs and Sheridan delivery available by calling 815-496-2021.

Patriocracy: The League of Women Voters of Central Kane County will sponsor a free public showing of the film “Patriocracy” at 7 p.m. Feb. 17 at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva, 110 S. 2nd St., Geneva.
