Praise, Praise II: Immanuel Lutheran Church’s “Praise, Praise II,” the fifth program in the Second Sunday Concert Series, is at 3 p.m. Feb. 12 in the church’s Family Life Center, 950 Hart Road. The concerts are free, but donations are accepted.

Spaghetti dinner: Sheridan United Methodist Church, 219 S. Bushnell St., holds its sixth annual Valentine Spaghetti Dinner, as part of the second Monday Community supper, from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Feb. 13. Dessert will be a chocolate fountain. No charge, but donations accepted. Carry-outs and Sheridan delivery available by calling 815-496-2021.

Spaghetti supper: St. George Romanian Catholic Church, 667 Sheridan, Aurora, hosts a spaghetti supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11 at St. George Hall. Cost is $6 for adults; $4 for kids 4 through 12; and free for children younger than 3. Tickets at the door. 630-851-4002. Proceeds benefit youth programs at the church.

Spaghetti supper: Sugar Grove United Methodist Church hosts a benefit spaghetti supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Sugar Grove Community House, 141 Main St. Proceeds from the Valentine-themed dinner will be used to support the Sugar Grove United Methodist Missions Team on their trip to Haiti this summer. 630-466-4501.

Tooth Fairy Mission: The Sugar Grove United Methodist Church holds the annual Tooth Fairy Mission during February — monetary donations, toothbrushes and toothpaste will be collected for the Between Friends Food Pantry in Sugar Grove and Hesed House. The Heifer Project: The Sunday School children at United Methodist Church in Plano are collecting donations for a “Cheeses of the World Gift Basket,” which is a gift of a heifer, goat, sheep and water buffalo to third-world families.
