Career advancement

Debbie Gillette, Kendall County clerk and recorder, recently was honored by the Illinois Association of County Clerks and Recorders. She was unanimously elected as the next president of the association. Gillette will serve as the association’s president for one year.

Joshua Lederman, who recently earned his doctorate of chiropractic degree from Logan University in St. Louis, will practice at Carson Chiropractic in Oswego alongside Dr. Eric Carson. Lederman, who lives in Oswego with wife Ashley, was named Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges.

Cougars job fair

The Kane County Cougars will host a job fair from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark, 34w002, Cherry Lane, Geneva.

The job fair will focus on recruiting prospective seasonal employees. The following part-time positions are available for the upcoming season:

Concession stand staff (includes cashiers, food runners, cooks, and stand managers)

Picnic servers

Beer servers

Suite attendants (waitress experience required)

Bartender (experience required)
