OSWEGO — Angie Hibben has been named the new president and CEO of the Oswego Chamber of Commerce.
Hibben will begin serving in her new role on April 1, succeeding Steve Hatcher, who has announced his retirement.
Hatcher has served as president and CEO of the Oswego Chamber since 2009.
Hibben is a member of the Chamber staff, serving as special projects coordinator since spring of 2008.
She is working on her IOM certification from the Institute for Organization Management training conducted by U.S. Chamber of Commerce, according to Tim Leverich, chairman of the board of the Oswego Chamber.
“We’re delighted to have Angie move up in the organization and have every faith in her abilities,” Leverich said.
Hibben has been active in local PTAs, the Rotary Club of Oswego, the Kendall Arts Guild and serves on the Oswego Cultural Arts and Women’s Topics committees. She and her husband Todd have four children.
