AURORA — The Roundhouse restaurant will be back in business Friday night, under new ownership.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for 4 p.m. to officially mark the opening of the Two Brothers Roundhouse at 205 N. Broadway.
“After the ribbon cutting, we will be open for our first dinner service,” said Jim Ebel, co-owner of Two Brothers with his brother, Jason.
The Roundhouse has been closed for the past two weeks for initial renovations, after Warrenville-based Two Brothers purchased the former America’s Historic Roundhouse restaurant and brewpub.
The Two Brother Roundhouse will feature 12 Two Brothers beers on tap, including two brews that will only be sold at the Roundhouse. Those brews haven’t been named yet, Jim Ebel said. The brewpub will also sell 50 different bottled beers.
Two Brothers Brewery has been brewing artisan craft beers, including Domain DuPage and Cane and Ebel, since 1997.
