Charges filed after shot fired during Aurora argument

Two Aurora residents are facing weapons charges after a women allegedly shot a gun into the air during a domestic dispute Wednesday evening.
Police were called to a home in the 600 block of East Galena Boulevard around 9:25 p.m. When they arrived, they determined that a male and female had been involved in a domestic dispute, and the female allegedly shot a gun into the air outside her residence during the argument.
Police charged Jasmine Pena, 25, 600 block of East Galena Boulevard, with felony reckless discharge of a firearm, and felony obstruction of justice. She was also charged with misdemeanor illegal possession of ammunition without a FOID card.
David Salinas Jr., 29, of the same address, was charged with felony obstruction of justice, and misdemeanor possession of ammunition without a FOID card, police said.
