Man robs Aurora gas station at gunpoint

No one was injured during the armed robbery of a gas station that occurred Tuesday evening in Aurora.

Police said around 6:50 p.m., a Hispanic male in his mid-20s entered the gas station in the 900 block of North Farnsworth Avenue, with a white scarf covering his face.

The male displayed a handgun, and demanded money from a 24-year-old female employee, police said.

The man, described at 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds, was given an undisclosed amount of cash before he fled from the store.

Police said he was wearing a black jacket, khaki pants, and black and white shoes.
